What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is the use of of hypnosis for therapeutic benefit.

A relaxed yet focused state of mind in which the creative, feeling part of you is drawn on to help resolve emotional behavioural or psychological problems, which can obstruct everyday life.

Hypnotherapy can be beneficial beneficial in many ways. For example, problems such as fears and phobias and unwanted habits such as smoking and nail biting.

It can beneficial for people who are lacking in self-confidence or self-esteem, or for people who wish to improve personal performance.

What is Hypnosis?

We use hypnosis everyday of our lives when we daydream, use our imagination and relax by, say, listening to music or reading.

The therapist creates a pleasant, safe and relaxed environment, using music and dialogue, which encourages a trance like state of complete relaxation. This also incorporates a feeling of acute awareness of the process, room and self.
